Hi ghosties! It's about that time again. As we wrap up the latest app round, we've got a new intro & CR meme ready to go for you, plus a few updates from us!

UPCOMING

Some quick updates:

The latest batch of NPC Quests are live! Thanks for your patience while we figure out the best way to make the quest system work for us. We've added a few more quests, plus a few tweaks to the overall structure: we now have a recommended number of characters listed for every quest (which isn't a hard limit, just a note from us on how many characters the quest was designed for), a handful of quests that may be completed multiple times by multiple characters, and a separate section for quests that aren't "assigned" by any NPC, but are rather stumbled upon by characters exploring the world. We hope this helps make the quests easier to interact with, and helps make sure everybody gets a crack at them!

Tomorrow, March 9th, there will be a post on the network comm announcing the next Crossing theme. The Ferryman will not be available this time so feel free to use it as a mingle!

Last but not least, thank you all for your patience the past few weeks! We know we've been a bit slow, but we're getting back into the swing of things and are excited to keep the ball rolling.

ETC?: I'm an office worker and just here to enjoy some pretendy afterlife funtimes while living through historical events.

CHARACTER NAME: Frieda Reiss
CANON & CANON POINT: Attack on Titan / Episode 1 (after her off-screen death that is revealed and revisited later)
FIRST TOLL: All memories of her half-sister Historia

PLANS: After a harrowing first Crossing, Frieda has been doing better (and how could she not, with the memory of her death and the presumable fall of her nation gone?), so she'll apply herself to the best of her ability! That means supporting her fellow souls, exploring the surroundings, participating in quests, and contributing to the regular communal brainstorming. If anyone would like to tackle anything specific together with her, count me in and let me know!

CR WISHES / OFFERS: Combining this again because I will forever struggle to separate both! While Frieda is naturally a friendly and nurturing big sister (the oldest of 6 5, back home), the absence of the enormous duty she held for the last 3 years of her life has her uncertain about her role in the group (and, more broadly, the afterlife). She deals with this by focusing on everyone else's problems instead - she already couldn't free her people while alive, she at least wants to do right by what community she has left now. I'm open for any development, positive or negative! Despite Frieda's baseline good nature, her backstory is very disturbing, and I'm expressly here for those who learned about it during the Crossing sharing it with those who didn't.

ETC?: I'm bad at prose RP, but happy to mix-and-match your prose with my brackets!! Also, for the new folks: Frieda is a walking AoT spoiler, so if you'd like to avoid her due to that (or for any other reason!), by all means use my opt-out post (again, mind the spoilers)!
